What's this film called?

Its about this girl and her father i think he is going to war so he
sends her off to this all girl boarding school which i think is for
rich people only. But then news comes back saying that her father is
dead so the girl is then made into a servants at the school and their
is another girl that is also a servant and they become good friends.
At the end of the film you find that her father really is alive. I
think it is based in India...

Anyone have any idea what it might be called??
